Design inspired by the so-called “violin-shaped” Cycladic figurines, which schematically represent the human body. These figurines, characteristic of the Early Cycladic I period (ca. 3200–2800 BC), are considered precursors of the abstract art of the Aegean. Their simplified form, with a narrow waist, flaring base, and elongated neck reminiscent of a violin, may have served ritual or symbolic purposes.
