Gold-Plated Silver Earrings Violin-Shaped Figurines
Gold-plated silver 925 with enamel earrings inspired by the "violin-shaped" Cycladic figurines, which schematically represent the human body (Early Cycladic I period, ca. 3200–2800 BC). These figurines are considered precursors of the abstract art of the Aegean. Their simplified form, with a narrow waist, flaring base, and elongated neck reminiscent of a violin, may have served ritual or symbolic purposes.
