Athenian Owl
Athenian Owl Design inspired by the ancient Athenian tetradrachm or “Athenian Owl”. On the back side of the coin is the sacred bird of the goddess Athena, the owl and the inscription ΑΘΕ (ATHE), the abbreviation for the name of the city of Athens. It circulated in many countries.
