Ancient theatre of Epidaurus

Design inspired by the Theater of the Asclepieion at Epidaurus, 340-330 BC. It remained in use until at least the 3rd century AD. It combines elegance with perfect acoustics. The musical, singing, and dramatic contests of the Asclepieia took place in the theater every 4 years in the spring following the Isthmian Games.
