She wears a chiton and a himation wrapped around the shoulders, falling in deep folds over the knees. The calm pose and reflective air are characteristic of Hellenistic coroplastic art (akin to the “Tanagra” types). Such figurines were produced by Pella workshops and are associated with household cult, votive offerings and funerary contexts.
